Latley I have been noticing a rapid increase in clean, polished and almost artistic websites that feature excellent and intuitive designs. I ask myself, what happend to 1990? or better yet 2005! It's true my friends, we are riding the crest of a beautiful wave into the future of the internet and design. We owe all our thanks to the developers and forward thinkers that brought us tools like CSS and ActionScript. The creative minds who continue to shape and mold the spectrum of interactivity have impacted what we view today as 'the internet'. Im starting to enjoy the research and development side of web design, almost as much as the sketching and layout portion! I just put the final touches on my portfolio web site, and I can't begin to describe my enthusiasm! Finally my work can be viewed and appreciated via the World Wide Web. I must admit that my old portfolio site carried some aesthetic elements that I appreciated more, but this dynamic CSS layout takes the cake. Sure, now it is easy for me to swap pieces of work & update information, but this also allows my audience to view my work with ease and less distractions.
